Exposition de Jean-Pierre SOULON et Céline EXCOFFON

Gifted with an overflowing imagination, the painter Jean-Pierre Soulon has been hanging his canvases once again at the priory in Allichamps since 2016.

The Vierzon-born artist has been painting since the age of twenty. In the early ’70s, his skilled hands created women?s forms, which he coated with clay, but he then became involved with a group of painters in the ’70s called SOLSTICE. He held numerous exhibitions, including one at Ranelagh in Paris.
Today, the artist no longer sculpts the living, but throws curves onto canvas, seeking both form and transparency.
