Château de Langeais presents a new exhibition on the unmissable theme of the fantastic and the marvellous in the Middle Ages.

Travelogues, bestiaries, legends and medieval novels populate our imaginations with fairies, spectacular battles, dragons, unicorns, spells and valiant knights.
In the attic space opened for the occasion, vivid scenes teeming with detail retrace some of the great tales, both well-known and lesser-known, for the enjoyment of young and old alike: the fairy Mélusine and her unmentionable secret; the novel of Alexander and his battle against fantastic creatures; the Lady of the Lake and the Knights of the Round Table; Saint George fighting the dragon; or fairies and witches?
