Gîte de Beaulieu

This gite offers calm and comfort for a most enjoyable stay on the edge of the huge Chinon forest. What an ideal location in Rabelais country, near the Royal Fortress of Chinon, a key site in Touraine! The gite is very well equipped, its living room opens onto an attractive terrace in a secure inner courtyard, ideal for young children. It is located at the end of an old, partly restored manor with independent access (the owners live on the property). The Loire à Vélo cycling trail is a few kilometres away, an opportunity to enjoy the abundant countryside and nature in our region. As well as the beautiful city of Chinon, you will find important places in history closeby: the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, Monsoreau, Saumur – the château and Cadre Noir (equestrian display riders), Candes-St-M…
