Offering one of the most beautiful views of the royal river, the Park extends over 32 hectares and brings together the château, its stables and its grounds, as well as the International Garden Festival. A renowned centre of arts and nature, the Park invites famous artists to exhibit their works.

Description

The Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire is a belvedere overlooking the wild Loire, offering one of the most beautiful views of the Royal River. It now covers 32 hectares and welcomes over 500,000 visitors every year. It includes the Château (15th-19th centuries), its stables, landscaped grounds and the International Garden Festival. A centre for the arts and nature, the estate hosts installations by contemporary artists and exhibitions by leading photographers throughout the year. In July and August, the ‘Nocturnes au Jardin’ (Garden Nocturnes) invite you to take a poetic stroll through the gardens of the Festival; the Domaine's restaurants welcome you and offer inventive cuisine based on a choice of local and organic produce.
