The Museum has for object a duty of memory in order to preserve the memory of this dark period of the world history which was the second world war and the human sacrifice undergone by the French and world population through the exodus, the occupation, the deportation and the liberation.
Description
As such, the museum's purpose is to make available to schools: (mannequins, objects and historical documents within the framework of the school program relating to this period) and to organize conferences, information, exhibitions in the communes, associations or organizations wishing to organize exhibitions around the theme 1939-1945.
