Park & Château of Beauregard
Former hunting lodge of Chambord, built on the orders of François Ist, it is renowned for its famous portrait gallery, the first Facebook in history. The landscaped park has great variety and covers 40 ha; it is supplemented by the Portraits garden as imagined by landscape architect Gilles Clément.

A veritable key to revealing and deciphering history, Beauregard is the hidden treasure of the Loire Valley.
It houses an exceptional GALLERY OF ILLUSTRATORS, the only one of its kind in Europe, with 327 portraits of famous people (the restoration of which was completed in 2023), a remarkable LAZZULI LAPIS ceiling and an exceptional paving of 5,600 Delft earthenware tiles.
The château also boasts an authentic 16th-century kitchen, a STUDIOLO designed by King Henry II’s cabinet-maker, a collection of exceptional furniture and an astonishing Gallery of Portraits featuring 69 dogs from the world of arts and culture.
