Explore Beauval Zoo, the 4th most beautiful zoo in the world, as a family. This exceptional park is home to some 35,000 animals and an incredible journey awaits visitors.

The giant pandas are undoubtedly the stars of the show, and people of all ages come to watch them in amazement! But there are also plenty of other animals to see. Walk around the lions’ enclosure, observe the elephants, see the animals from the African savannah, explore the tropical dome and the monkey houses and so much more. There are 22 areas to explore at Beauval, each with its fair share of surprises and wonder! 

To reach the lions’ enclosure from the elephants’ plain, near the pandas, hop aboard the Beauval cable car. This cable car takes visitors 40 metres off the ground, is particularly suited to families with young children and offers a breathtaking view of the park from above. Use of the cable car is included in your ticket!

A visit to Beauval is also about the shows. Visitors can watch the playful sea lions splash about and perform acrobatics in the aquatic amphitheatre! And around 550 birds can be seen flying overhead in the incredible show ‘Les Maîtres des Airs’.

Explore the Haute-Touche Reserve

The Haute-Touche Reserve welcomes visitors to a vast wooded park with wide-open plains, covering 436 hectares altogether. To explore this huge park where 1,500 animals from the five continents roam about in semi-captivity, you can get around on foot, by bike, by car or even with a little electric car, depending on the zone!

Children will discover local animals such as deer and wild boar, as well as some rare species such as the red panda, Sumatran tigers, kangaroos, emperor tamarin monkey and many more. Binoculars are available on loan to visitors of all ages, to watch the animals from the various observation points dotted around the park. The Haute-Touche Reserve is the perfect place to teach children all about the importance of protecting biodiversity, while having fun at the same time.

Dive into the world’s oceans at Touraine Aquarium

Dive into the fascinating world of Touraine Aquarium, where visitors of all ages can come and explore the wonders of the depths. You won’t need snorkelling gear here, all you have to do is keep your eyes peeled and admire the hundreds of species in the enormous aquariums. An unforgettable experience at La Tanière – Zoo Refuge

Welcome to an extraordinary place!
