The Foucault Ponds site consists of 2 observatories accessible to the public, allowing the observation of numerous species of water birds throughout the year, from the Green-winged Teal to the Little Gravelot, not forgetting the Tern or the Osprey.
There are two observatories on the site: the large observatory at the Bénisme pond, recommended for morning viewing, and the small observatory, recommended for evening viewing. Winter observation of the Wigeon, the Green-winged Teal or the Great Egret; April, August and September of the Osprey; May of the Tern; June of the Shoveler and Common Gravelot; April to July of the Black Kite,… Passage of various species of herons that can easily be observed in flight in spring (black-crowned night heron, cattle guard, purple heron, little egret, common crake…)
