In Amilly, the Loing delimits, from its two arms of the river, a vast space which illustrates, with the exploitation of the quarries, the history between Man and the Valley. The town (with the support of the Loiret Department) has decided to restore biodiversity to its rightful place among the woodlands, wet meadows and water bodies that make up this area
The playful and educational development will consist in particular of the installation of paths and appropriate signposting. It will be possible to cross the Loing valley by gentle routes to facilitate the discovery of the cultural and historical heritage of the valley (Bardin mill, Briare canal, …) and in connection with the existing footpaths and the future cycle route along the Briare canal.
