Les Rives de Beaugency

Although maintained by the man (here by the Academy of the natural heritage of the Centre region), the Banks of Beaugency are not in reality a garden. You enter here in the field of the river, on a protected natural site. The natural evolution of the site is studied, measured, encouraged, mastered here there, to allow a mosaic of typical circles of the Loire to express himself with all their procession of plants and animals. All this offer, just a step from the city, a succession of colors, smells, forms, noises and atmospheres, since the natural or grazed meadows, by way of the afforestations and the fallow land to the wild, until the strikes of the Loire… A pallet which the Academy and the city of Beaugency invites you to discover.
