The Arnon valley offers the "Moulin des fougères" (Ferns Mill), essentially composed of hyacinth oak and alder-fern groves, bordering the river that runs through it. At the exit of the gorges, some micro-landes are still visible
The interest of the site is linked to this original landscape of gorges, extremely rare in the Centre – Loire Valley region, but also to the presence of sub-mountain vegetation and a great diversity of ferns, mosses and lichens. The site is of additional interest, this time geological, with rocks visible from the extreme north of the Massif Central.
