Accueil Organise your stay Visits Gardens & parks National forest of Dreux
Clumps of giant trees, shady groves, ancient oaks, hornbeams and conifers: the Dreux forest is a firm favourite with walkers. Upon request, the Forestry Commission can organise guided tours for visitors of all ages.
Between Dreux and Anet, the state forest of Dreux stretches across plateaux and hills to form a green heart in the north of the département. Popular with hikers, bikers, mountain bikers, horse riders and walkers alike, the forest boasts a wide variety of trees. High forests, coppices, centuries-old oaks, hornbeams and conifers alternate along the paths. The ONF, which manages the forest, would like to introduce you to this natural heritage.
