Louroux Pond interpretation trail

L'étang du Louroux, located about thirty kilometres south of Tours, is one of the major sites of the departmental policy in favour of Sensitive Natural Spaces. This site presents an exceptional wealth of fauna and flora. Thanks to the implementation of a management plan over several years, animals and plants are flourishing, and the Louroux pond has become an essential passage for the migration and reproduction of about 200 species of birds, some of which are very rare.
