Galerie Garnier Delaporte

In the spring of 2009, Brigitte and Patrice Garnier realized a dream by opening the Galerie Garnier Delaporte: an improbable contemporary art gallery in the heart of the Sancerre vineyards. Mrs Delaporte, from her maiden name, bought the house then belonging to her uncle and organized with her husband, not without passion and enthusiasm, this place of meetings, exchanges and sharing for artists. Artists carefully chosen by the owners, forming from now on a gallery of paintings, collages, sculptures and photographic works. The Gallery, representing today 24 permanent artists, certainly adopts the role of "ferryman" between the artist and the public, the opportunity to develop at the rhythm of the seasons, their passion, their history and their writing.
