La Jocondie – Boat trips on the Cher
From the 1 June to mid October cruises with commentary on the Cher (1-1 ¼ hr) on a toue (flatbottomed boat) with cabin, traditional 12m-long Loire river boat. Discovery of the fauna and flora, from Tours to the Grand Moulin in Ballan-Miré (picnic aboard possible).
From June 1st to mid-October: tours of the wild Cher with live commentary (1 hour – 1 hour 15 minutes), aboard traditional 'toue cabanée' covered barge "La Jocondie", a 12-metre boat typical of the Loire. Discover the flora and fauna, on a 6km stretch between Joué-lès-Tours and the Great Mill at Ballan (picnic on board possible).
