Le Totem

The Musée du Totem presents the collections of Janet Stedman and Pierre Digan / Digan Grès, two key players in the 1960s and 1980s at La Borne. Their collection retraces a major part of the history of the village of La Borne. It is also a tribute to their career, their life and their influence in the art of ceramics. A series of temporary exhibitions is organized every year. Each one will present a multidisciplinary selection with the aim of cross-referencing practices around themes questioning our current society. The works of international artists will then come to dialogue with local creation and push back the borders
