Our inn, with decor worthy of a vineyard museum, is just waiting for you to taste its regional dishes and enjoy the Joseph Mellot wine vintages. A visit to the wine cellar is available upon request.
The oldest restaurant in Sancerre was created in 1882 by Julienne MELLOT, Joseph MELLOT's mother, to offer her local cuisine in harmony with the wines of the estate. Since 2016, the chef Jean-Philippe BEDU has been able to give new impetus to the local cuisine of the Auberge Joseph MELLOT. He reinvents the classics with modernity and finesse, and creates tasty dishes by playing with the richness of the vast array of terroirs that the Centre-Loire region offers.
