The Key to the Story
Anthony Girard, an endearing young winemaker bursting with energy, started his own production in 2012 after learning his skills at the family estate. Attached to its origins in Sancerre, it set up in Récy, a hamlet in the south of the appellation and took over 8.5 hectares on excellent terroirs.
In the town of Récy, south of Sancerre, the La Clef du Récit estate was created in 2012.
Anthony Girard, an endearing young winemaker bursting with energy, started his own production in 2012 after learning his skills at the family estate as well as abroad (New Zealand, Chile, Hungary, South Africa).
Attached to its Sancerroise origins, it covers 8.5 hectares on excellent terroirs.
Anthony carries out rigorous work in the vineyard in respect of the soil and the environment in order to harvest grapes in full maturity, bursting with fruit.
